Broker's Comments
Dutch steel motor cruiser for sale in France. Boatshed Midi Canals is pleased to offer this very nicely presented, Classic Motor Yacht for sale. Designed by Henk Lunstroo and built by Henry Engelaers yard (renowned for quality bespoke yachts) her pedigree is still evident today. She oozes charm of a bygone era yet is bright, practical and comfortable. She is easy to operate with dedicated deck spaces fore & aft and wide side decks too. In 2013 our vendor embarked upon an extensive refurbishment programme. The electrical systems were totally updated, the steel wheelhouse was removed thereby reducing the air draft to just 2.70 m. allowing access to the canal du Midi. Many interior upgrades were also carried out at this time.
The boat has since cruised from Honfleur to Bordeaux via the Seine, Canal du Centre, Saone, Rhône, Canal du Midi and Canal lateral a la Garonne. Our vendor tells us she is equally at home at coastal cruising.
LED lighting installed almost everywhere.
The deck height allows easy boarding and disembarking and the crane on the rear deck makes handling the tender & bicycles a breeze.
A classic motor cruiser ideally suited to extended holidays or full time live aboard she is stylish and practical choice for cruising French waterways, Europes canals & rivers, the Med & beyond.
