DAF DK 1160 M rated at 116kw (+/- 156hp). The age of the engine is not known but they were in production from the mid 70’s to mid 90’s and this one started a treat from cold, sounded sweet and amazingly for a DAF made very little smoke. It drives a three bladed propellor via a Capitol 4HE 10200 gearbox

Very pretty Luxe Motor Dutch barge thought to be from the 1950’s the vessel has been totally refitted by our vendor from 2022 to 2025 starting from a stripped hull which was first sprayed with foam insulation before commencing a total refit.
The vessel was drydocked and surveyed in January 2025.

From the wheelhouse a fairly steep stair takes you down into the main living area, starting with the fitted kitchen, comprising a washer/dryer, a four burner gas hob, an electric oven separate fridge & freezer. Plenty of worktop space and a breakfast bar and personalised artistic finishings.
Headroom is over 2 metres and there is a real feeling of space and light here. Heating is assured by a pellet stove whilst a portable A/C unit is available for the hotter summer days.
Forward of the saloon to port is a single cabin or office with a bed of 2m x 0.9m. Headroom is still over 2m here.
To starboard behind an unusual ornate, seahorse motif sliding door is a shower room and heads with electric WC, washbasin and shower.
Finally the main bedroom across the whole width of the fore end with its double bed of 1.9m x 1.4m. Hot water is from an instant gas heater.

Ideal dimensions for maximum space without the complications of TRIWV or ESTRIN. This vessel has been completely refitted by our very experienced vendor starting with the sprayfoam insulation and finishing with some artistic personal touches.
It’s light and bright with huge headroom and feels nice and solid on deck too with those wide well protected side decks. Throw in the lovely Luxemotor lines and a meaty DAF 1160 and this would appear to be a lot of lovely solid boat for the money.
