The construction is a GRP hull with plywood deck and cabin. Due to her original owners intention to cross the North Atlantic, the hull has been strengthened throughout the entire keel length, as well as further strengthening to the topsides with a beam shelf laminated in place. She has been epoxy coated below the waterline.

Although a modern boat, the Westward 25 has all the charm of a classic vessel.
This example was strengthened during its construction as the original owner intended to cross the North Atlantic, and although currently requiring the usual winter clean up and odd jobs, she is in good condition with numerous useful upgrades completed by the current owner.
This boat certainly combines all the charm of a classic vessel and the ease of maintenance of a modern GRP hull and would be a pleasure to own and sail.
