Broker's Comments

One of the features customers of Boatshed like the most is the number and the detail of photographs we take of our boats for sale. Individually of course they show what needs to be seen, but collectively they often tell a story and the overall condition of a boat. This late Westerly Griffon Club is one such boat where the story the photos tell is one of a very caring owner who has cherished and looked after his yacht. As a broker one of the first places we look is in the cockpit lockers as they tell a great deal – in this case just take a look at the locker with a clean base and sides and all the warps neatly hung on hooks. That tells me this owner looks after his boat. Sure, she is a Westerly and has a minor case of saggy headlinings in the fore cabin but that is indeed minor compared to the overall condition. I even have every receipt, manual and booklet, including the original Westerly owners manual for this Griffon. A lovely yacht ‘ready to go’ when you are.
