Broker's Comments
Designed by Kim Holman with speed in mind, Twisters are well known for their outstanding racing success and ocean going sailing abilities.
This one, which in the past has won many racing prizes in Plymouth Sound, is built in the popular composite design, with a GRP hull and wooden topsides. With only two owners since new, this vessel went through a thorough refurbishment program between 2007-2011 and had a survey & engine service carried out in 2018.
Simple and practical, the cockpit is compact with everything within easy reach for short handed sailing, whilst the uncluttered deck is easy to move around. Down below she is also practical with a stand up navigation table to starboard, a galley to port and two settee berths in the saloon. Moving forward, she has a brand new Jabasco heads with a hanging locker and storage space, followed by two further bunks that easily convert to a double.
Well proven on ocean crossing passages and for star quality racing ability, it’s easy to see why these compact, classic cruisers are still much sought after.
The owner has comprehensive paperwork including the original Builders Certificate, previous Bills of Sale, SSR & Gas Safety Record.
