Broker's Comments

The Super Seal 26 is a modern-styled lifting keel fast cruiser, designed by Ron Holland, of Kinsale in Ireland, at the time one of the most successful small racing yacht designers. In December 2000 a "Sailing Today" review gave it five stars for performance, and four for accommodation, which they described as ".... much better than you would expect in such a fast boat."
With a Portsmouth number of 976 she is reputedly faster than a Contessa 32 and many a 34 footer, so if 'round the cans' is your bag she might be of interest as well as having ,relatively, comfortable family sized accommodation? The one season old mains'l and recent standing rigging (2017) would certainly help in this respect!

However, as may be deduced from our recent photographs, she is in urgent need of some deep TLC. The motor, whilst no 'thing of beauty', is believed to work and certainly could be made to and a pressure wash outside plus 'elbow grease' below deck could have her ready for the 2021 season at a knock down price!
