Broker's Comments
This is the last remaining Newlyn Lugger and a serious piece of maritime history. Saved from being broken up by the current owner who has sypathetically restored her. She is not a replica with every piece of wood replaced, rather, she is mostly very original. A boat like this requires a special owner, someone who will retain her working roots. The interior is very "back to basics" but "updating", without losing any of her soul, would be straight forward. Ownership of a boat like this only makes one a temporary custodian but it allows entry to the very vibrant and friendly world of classic & working boats as well as the established regatta circus ( Is your liver up to it ?).
Currently lying in Cornwall.
