Broker's Comments
This Halberdier is a very likeable and rare old girl as well as a decent long distance cruising yacht. I'm not certain many Halberdiers were built but what I am sure of, she was expensive in her day. The old saying, "They don't build them like this anymore" really does fit.
What I like is the largely original interior with some good quality wood and joinery that has lasted very well. There are no "owner (un) improvements !
The hull has been subject to a lot of boatyard work including epoxy treatment and a very good Awlgrip paint job.
The boat is nice and roomy with a good aft cabin.
She will sail well but some may consider her tending towards a motor sailer.
All in all, a great boat for our Northern European climate.
