The popular bilge keel Mirage 28 makes an ideal family cruiser at a modest price. They are robust, well made and quite swift for a bilge keeled boat of their era.
Their deep & long cockpits have plenty of room, their clear side decks and uncluttered foredeck make them easy to move around and the running rigging leads aft to make short handed sailing a breeze.
The shallow draft makes them ideal for exploring local creeks whilst down below they offer comfortable & surprisingly spacious accommodation for their size, with a decent galley and saloon, a separate forward cabin, berths for 6 and good headroom throughout.
