Broker's Comments
These long keeled mini cruisers have a reputation as safe, sturdy and sea kindly vessels and would be suitable for newcomers or seasoned sailors. The Macwester Rowan Crown, named in recognition of the Jubilee year in which she was designed, is one of the most popular models that Macwester built.
The cockpit is roomy with nice high, safe sides. There is a handy removable gate in the transom for access to the swim ladder. The standing rigging was replaced in 2012 and there is a pair of good quality aluminium beaching legs to enable her to take the ground.
Down below, this example benefits from a new cooker and heads in 2015, the upholstery is in good condition, lee cloths are fitted and the standing room is good for a boat of this size.
This vessel is due to go back on the Tamar River for the season and the mooring could be negotiable.
