Broker's Comments
Solid, strong and seaworthy, the MacWester 26 has a good following. Designed and built to a very strong spec these boats are all but indestructible.
Popular with new and experienced mariners alike, these built to last coastal cruisers will keep you safe and sheltered with their high cockpits sides. Whilst their shoal draft will allow you to explore shallow waters, creeks, drying harbours & even sandy beaches, the combination of bilge keel and long skeg will give you the ability to take the ground comfortably.
Although this example could do with a little t.l.c. to bring her back to her former glory, there are berths for 4 adults and good headroom in the saloon for a vessel of this size. She has the potential to be a comfortable weekender.
This example also has the advantage of a full cockpit enclosure and cockpit cushions, offering further protected space & accommodation when moored.
A good, safe, coastal cruiser at a realistic price.
