Broker's Comments
This Kestrel 22 has been owned for most of the last 28 years by the current owner, cruised extensively by the owner in the Solent and along the South Coast. She is fully equipped and has spent approximately six months of each season afloat. Out of the water she has been laid up in the owner’s garden with a well vented winter cover. Mast and spars have been kept in a garage and sails and other equipment have been removed and kept in a loft. All maintenance has been carried out by the owner to a high standard. She has had much TLC for many years with light usage in recent years and is now regretfully up for sale. Recent refit (2013) with £3k on materials new loo, hullcocks, iroko keel, keel bolts rudder, centreplate etc.
A lovely day sailor that it would be possible to overnight on, she has even ventured to Dartmouth.
There is also a purpose built yard trailer available R&M collapsing for stowage that can come with the boat by separate negotiation.
