Broker's Comments
You to can be part of the worlds biggest single design racing yacht fraternity with this “race ready” Westerly J24 (Registered with the J24 Association.). The J24 is an internationally recognised racing class all around the word, from Poole to Mexico!
It’s not easy trying do to justice to this boat with her mast is lying on her deck!
The boat has been lovingly maintained by all it’s past owners and apart from last session, it’s been kept under cover. Re-epoxied, re-profiled fin keel, new gel coat, anti-fouled with international tri-lux in winter of 2004/05 (by professional family boatyard).
As this is a Westerly built J24, it’s slightly heavier build gave it a weight disadvantage. When the rules were revised, the owner removed the cooker etc. It now acts as the stowage for the anchor!
This is a fantastic, race prepared boat, the new owner will have very little work to do (if any). This boat has seen very little water in the past 6 years, only being raced for 1 session in 2005.
This boat has been viewed and photographed by Austen of Boatshed Poole. Register or log in to see more photos of this boat. These boat details are subject to contract.
