Broker's Comments

What we have here is an Itchen Ferry style Gaff Cutter believed built in the 1920s. She is of Pitch Pine on Oak construction, the decks are Pitch pine covered with 1/4 inch marine ply and then sheathed with GRP. Her sails by James Lawrence Sailmakers of Brightlingsea.
She could offer very comfortable accommodation for two but could easily be modified to provide additional berths.
Long winter nights would be very snug and comfortable with the warmth from the coal stove.
Make no bones about it this is still very much a project in need of considerable time, effort and no doubt expense to bring her back to her former glory.
She is, however, a very pretty little boat that could still provide the right owner with some good sailing in a comfortable, classical manner.
