Comentario del broker
Here we have a true legend – these boats have a world-wide following and many are to be encountered spread across the globe, sailed by intrepid “birds of passage.”
A sea-boat for real seamen, everything has been well thought out, and everything has a function, giving this yacht a beauty which is hard to describe. The interior is roomy, airy and there is stowage a-plenty. She is basically a long-keeled yacht with bilge plates, so she sails “in the groove” but can take the ground if required. The self steering gear is a serious piece of kit – set her up and off across the pond you go!
Engine access is brilliant and the SABB (not Saab!) looks like it did the day it was delivered. I get the impression that the whole yacht is like this, all the gear is workmanlike and well looked after, and all the equipment looks as though if its meant to do a job then it does it – no fuss, just competence.
The owner exudes love and affection for this very special yacht – he doesn’t really want to part with her but he feels he is getting to the stage where he has to hang up his deck shoes. She is beautifully maintained by a real gentlemen who knows every aspect of this boat as well as he knows the “crook of his own thumb.” (Peter Duck, Arthur Ransome 1932).
These boat details are subject to contract.
