Broker's Comments

We are very pleased to be featuring this Folkboat for sale. The enduringly and popular Folkboat is known for the seakeeping qualities and impressive sailing performance, which went on to inspire numerous other designs, including the Contessa 26.

This version had been a little neglected until recently, but has been partially refurbished by the current owner, including new interior upholstery, cockpit locker lids and sole. The sails look to be in good condition and the owner reports a vessel with a good turn of speed and comfortable performance. Some small areas of planking may require attention, which is within the capability of a competent DIY boat owner. This boat remains in commission and is an ideal opportunity for someone to continue the refurbishment ready for next season.

Please also note that delivery by sea, at cost only, may be possible on a successful sale.

If you would like any further information, or to organise a personal viewing, then please contact our office and one of the team will be pleased to help.

These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
