I have to say was very impressed by this excellent family cruiser. The layout down below is just a bit different – I liked the semi-spiral steps down from the companionway, I really liked the forecabin, and above all I thought the woodwork set off the whole package beautifully.
This is a good sized boat; she’ll sleep 6 in comfort, or 4 in luxury! The galley is well laid out, and the microwave will make life easy. Oh yes – she has air conditioning! Hurrah!
Colvic have a reputation for building great hulls, and the owner tells me that this boat is as steady as a rock under way, with easy and positive handling. Her twin petrol Mercruisers are of course lighter than the equivalent diesels, and they allow you loads of room in the engine bay. She’ll whizz along at 30 knots, but she is happy cruising at about 17-20. She is a Suncruiser after all!
The present owner has had her about 7 years, and brought her back from the Med through the French canals – lucky man!
