Broker's Comments

This admired, pretty, classic & comfortable, 27’ long keel ‘Crusader’ Class yacht was completely and professionally renovated 6 years ago & valued @ £20k.

Following an fresh survey (May 2020) now requires a woodworking enthusiast sailor to strip and renovate her deck in 12mm ply plus a list of other everyday jobs e.g clipping back hoses & wires re- varnishing mast etc. as revealed in the detailed survey.

She is decoratively immaculate, extensively equipped; & prepped for launching.

The owners’ arthritis means he is unable to complete the work despite being a retired boat builder. He can willingly advise, lend a hand, and do odd bits to help a purchaser inc., sourcing & and; basic machining of timber to size/shape.
Full history/reports/current survey and photos available to view upon inspection.

The purchaser may not feel the need to complete the full repair and could do patches of the deck around stanchions, but better to do a full job.

She is well worth a look, ashore in Wareham. The Surveyor commented ‘Once these works have been completed, I believe the vessel should have many safe cruising years ahead’.

Offers around £4500 invited.
