The outboard engine is brand new. It is a 4 stroke with electric start. The boat comes with a complete 12 volt sysem with a battery charger, full cabin lights and running lights.

The boat is easily operated from the cockpit and has a 110 degree roller furling . The main has one reef point and the sails are in good condition along with the lazy jacks. The sails have full battens. The Boom Vang and Travellar are aft of the cockpit and all standing rigging and running rigging is in good shape.

This is a well built sturdy sailboat. It has long been one of Catalina's best sellers and has proven her test of time. The rigging is in good shape the owner has had the bottom redone in July of 2008. The vessel shows normal ware and tear but has been maintained by an owner whom has extensive boat knowledge. This vessel will give its new owners years of maintenance free sailing. It also has the handy "POP TOP" with snap on enclosure.

The galley is ample with a sink and a built in ice box. There is also a propane stove. All dishes and cook ware go will it. The cushions has all been replaced and the boat has a bimini top for comfort.

The decks are clean and easy to get around on. They are in good shape and show little signs of ware. The pop up has screens for it and is a nice feature of this boat.
The boat has life lines and a bow and stern pulpit. The owner has just put a new tiller arm on and it has a tiller tamer also.

This is the perfect boat for these times. As fuel prices rise you still can go boating with the family and stay on a budget. The Catalina 25 is a very popular boat .The owner has put a brand new 4 stroke engine on it and has maintained the boat very well. The sails are tight and the boat is ready for the summer. The slip that he is currently enjoying is transferable if needed. The boat is ready for those long weekends or just sailing into the sunset.
