Broker's Comments
The Mudie/Van de Stadt designed Wing 25 is one of my favourite 'pocket yachts', with an enviable reputation for sea keeping and sure-footed handling in all conditions. She's a perfect size for single handing but can accommodate four in relative comfort for coastal and longer cruises. Our example here has been in the same ownership for the last 19 years and her owner has endeavoured to keep her 'in character' by upgrading where necessary but retaining original and correct period motor, winches etc whilst replacing things such as electronics and instruments with modern units. Although fit and spritely it is now time for her very competent and experienced octogenarian owner to relinquish command (and winters spent in the boatyard on maintenance) and just enjoy sailing - on other people's yachts. That time will come to us all, so don't leave it too late should you have the urge to sail away in your own vessel!
