Broker's Comments

Back in the late ‘seventies, Westerly were selling oodles of cruising boats, but they wanted to cash in on the cruiser/racer market, so along came the Chris Hawkins designed GK24. Well, it hit the ground running and sales and racing success followed in spades. So much so that 320 of them were built between 1976 and 1981.

Nowadays they are still about – some in better condition than others, and this boat is definitely one of the better ones! She is clean and tidy, well looked after and has been in the same ownership for over 8 years. Sadly lack of use lately forces a sale, but here is a great way for someone to get out on the water for not a lot of money.

Bonus – her headlinings are fine, and she was re-rigged in 2013. Result!

Come along to Port Solent and we’ll have a look together – just ring me on 07885 521960 and we'll set something up.
