Broker's Comments
The Trapper TS240, designed by Ed Dubois. His design really ticked all the boxes with PBO giving her rave reviews when first launched onto the market.
She has a deep and heavy vertical lifting bulb keel with hydraulic lift, making her ideal for exploring and being able to use shallow moorings - with the keel retracted she floats in 12" of water!
The 10hp outboard is located in the cockpit well and with the furling genoa and all lines led to the cockpit she would be perfect for short handed sailing, She will ghost along in the lightest breeze and can be a handy club racer in the right hands with her exceptional performance to windward.
There are lots of practical home comforts below decks, with a good cooker and sink with tap and water storage, all set up in a clever system that allows the owner to slide the galley aft into the quarter berth giving more saloon room. There is even a proper sea toilet.
She looks to have been well maintained and there is a good history file to back this up. Ideal if you're looking for a first family cruiser or moving up from a dinghy!
