Broker's Comments
Here is an opportunity to buy a little piece of history. The Purbrook Heron was built in 1952 and was featured in the Yachting Monthly Earls Court Boat Show edition.
This boat had lots of work done in 2017 including new sails and covers. The engine, fitted in 1993, was fully refurbished in 2017 along with all the electrics. The wood is in excellent condition and she is a testament to the current and previous owners.
This is one for the aficionados as she will need ongoing love and attention but the rewards will be evident for a long time and she will always put a smile on your face.
As a lifting keel boat she is ideal for exploring the estuaries but with her semi displacement keel is also capable enough to go out into open water.
