Broker's Comments
This is an exceptional one-off design, junk rigged, catamaran. It was built by a professional boat builder and the 2016 survey reports a a vessel of good quality materials and an excellent standard of workmanship, apparent in the construction.
The boat has been solidly built, has sufficient equipment and as a shoal draft multihull, offers the potential for both extended coastal cruising and shallow water sailing.
Both hulls provide relatively private, double, aft berths, stowage space upfront and a navigation station to starboard and galley to port. The port hull also contains the heater, which the owner reports to be incredibly warm.
When I visited the boat, I could sense its potential for safe, sailing adventures and ease of use, because of the junk rig, with lines led to the cockpit. The survey report, from 2016, is consistently positive throughout and provided a valuation in excess of the current sale price. This boat is a gem, waiting to be discovered and only needing some light polishing, before providing many sea miles of pleasure.
The owner is keen to sell and has reduced the sale price to reflect this.
