Broker's Comments

This Macwester 26 was built in January 1966 in Arundel and the same family have owned this boat for 45 years.

The boat comes very well equipped as can be seen from some of the internal shots and also includes a hard tender (not seen) with a Seagull outboard.

The Mast and Boom were replaced approx. 7 years ago and the current inboard Yanmar diesel engine was installed circa 1990.

The Boat has been antifouled and not used since.

We have been told that the main sail is quite new. The owner has now advised that the they have misplaced the gib sail during a house move, so this needs to be taken into account in your offer.

The boat also has a survey in 2014 for insurance purposes.

The boat is showing some signs of its age, but most of this appears to be cosmetic and could be rectified relatively easily.
