With their robust build and a high ballast ratio the Hurley 22 makes for an excellent starter boat with shallow draft creek crawling capability.
Maybe not in the first flush of youth these days but that does mean they are very affordable to sailors on a modest budget.
A modern four stroke is included which makes life simple.
