Broker's Comments
I love this little yacht! She was built by a professional carpenter who intended to sail her on the Atlantic circuit, singlehanded. She is built like the proverbial brick outhouse, and is intended to weather any storm that the Atlantic might throw at her. She has a rudimentary but comfortable interior for one or two and has recent sails and engine. Unfortunately perhaps, the trip was never made as we believe his lady partner insisted on accompanying the voyager and a larger yacht was called for. The present owner, when asked if he had experienced any heavy weather in her remarked "no, nothing much above force 8", and I think I detected a hint of disappointment! She is the sort of yacht that you expect to see nosing into harbour, anywhere from Greenland to the Falkland Islands. A true Blue Water budget cruiser, WITH GOOD SAILS AND A RECENT MOTOR, at less than half the price of a drascombe lugger.
