Broker's Comments
The Westerly Centaur was the most popular British yacht ever built and it's easy to see why.
The combination of performance, economy and space is legendary, whether crewed or for solo sailing.
The current owner is reluctantly selling but has decided after 23 years that it's time for a change.
She has been used a lot for the last 5 or 6 years. Prior to that she was ashore for about 10 years while the current owner was working away. He has personally and regularly maintained the vessel and engine throughout his ownership.
She will probably need a lift out and antifoul for the start of the next season.
This seems an ideal starter yacht as well as for someone looking to downsize from a bigger boat.
