This is a large aft cockpit sloop with a nice teak seating area along both sides of the cockpit. The helm station has a built in table which is usefully large and with center deep storage. The wheel is a folding wheel so access around the cockpit to and from the walk-through transom to the swim platform is really nice.

The cockpit is covered above, and forward, with a 2023 bimini with window covers. New canvas also covers the Highfield dingy on the foredeck.

Entering the salon down the stairs the galley is directly to starboard and a bit behind you. The galley is very well equipped with microwave, two burner propane stove with oven, a double basin sink, large refrigerator plus a separate large freezer. This space has three opening windows for ventilation while you're cooking.

Next forward is the settee and table with nice storage around the back. The stainless compression post (deck-stepped mast) enters your view as you look to port. A "love seat" size seating across from the table with navigation station and electrical panel finishes the salon on that side. Aft of the nav station is the smaller of two heads. Behind the head on port is the aft cabin with private entry door.

Forward in the salon you enter a second cabin with starboard side pullman berth. Forward most is a larger head, brightly lit from overhead window.

Accommodations for six if two of those are small.

Interior heat and AC supplied by Marine Air.

2 burner gas cooker/stove

Broker's Comments

The Beneteau 400 was built from 1991 through 1997. This example is a very attractive family boat that is equally suited to racing. In 2020 a hard freeze caused the deck-stepped mast base to crack. At that time a new mast, boom, sail, stack pack and most of the running rigging were replaced. New dodger, Bimini and canvas were added in 2023. Today the boat shows as nicely kept up.
