Broker's Comments
You only need to take a quick look at this fabulous Astondoa 70 GLX yacht to see what an absolute beauty she is!
She has acres of upper deck space with an amazing aft deck - perfect for lounging and entertaining in all weathers - with the option to tent it off if desired.
French windows lead you to a luxury wooden interior, mixed with contemporary upholstery and lots of beautiful touches that make her main lounge a really special place to be - access to the fly bridge is enabled from here via a fabulous spiral staircase, as well as from her aft deck.
Moving forwards we find a fine dining area located opposite a brand new galley, fully refitted with an amazing finish along with everything that you'd expect to find on a vessel such as this. Lovely details abound everywhere.
Her helm area is extremely spacey, with plenty of room for company at the dedicated bridge office area - her helm is well equipped and possesses very recently refitted modern instruments and there are plenty of windows everywhere, to let light in and to permit safe watchkeeping at sea.
As one descends to the accommodation deck via the gently curving staircase, one can really appreciate the fine workmanship and thought put into this yacht by her manufacturers and current owners.
Her sleeping accommodation consists of a forward VIP cabin, luxuriously appointed with its own en suite - all new.
Moving aft, we pass the day head, with lots of room and its own shower too. Aft of this compartment are two similar twin cabins - both fitted out beautifully and one with an amazing, contemporary style en suite too.
And finally, we arrive at the master suite, a full width cabin, with island berth, a walk-in wardrobe and its own, large, refitted his and hers bathroom. This cabin really is the place to be - lots of light, lots of storage, plenty of room and a place to really relax and feel good!
Don't forget the fly bridge - accessible via the saloon or the aft deck - acres of space, lots of seats and room for a dinghy that can be launched and recovered by the on board crane.
She's been regularly professionally maintained for a long time - this continues - and much work and investment has been placed in her. This shows, everywhere you look - from some really fundamental tasks, such as rewiring, to navigation instruments at the helm and fly bridge - there is just too much to include here - a list is available upon application, as is her 2021 survey.
She has been washed and valeted inside and out monthly, dehumidified and heated, to keep her fresh and smelling sweet throughout.
Her engine room contains two powerful Man engines, two generators, fuel tanks and associated ancillaries - there is plenty of room for the engineers to do their work and is accessible via the aft deck and swim platform. Both engines start without issue.
She was previously MCA Coded Cat 2, certificate now expired.
