Broker's Comments
This Princess 37 was purchased from the owner of a boatyard and marina who had intended to refurbish it for his own use. The current owner agreed to buy the boat provided the engines were serviced and the interior fitted out to his own specification to professional standards.
The interior is very contemporary and does not look at all dated.
The boat was surveyed out of the water in Feb 2024 and found to be free of osmosis. The skin fittings, steering, rudder, P brackets and props were all found to be sound. The controls all work and the canvas cockpit cover looks in good condition.
Two new electric toilets have also been installed together with a new cooker. But the owner has disconnected the gas and bought a multi cooker as well.
The owner is in the process of putting synthetic teak decking around the side decks because a previous owner had painted over the original decking, That is about the biggest issue I observed.
This Princess has a new lease of life with a sound hull, reworked electrics, serviced engines and attractive interior. It would make a great river or coastal family cruising boat or a spacious liveaboard.
