Broker's Comments
This rugged boat has come back onto the market in 2009. A big strong offshore ketch she is ideal for oceanic passage making. Suited for short-handed sailing with her furling genoa and in-mast reefing main and mizzen. This yacht is made for a sailing family on a RTW trip or an adventure sailing school.
Lots of new gear and a full refit in 1998 including new masts, rigging and winches (cost £80K). She is also fitted with generator and water maker. Heavily built for her first owner to cruise the Arctic, she has gone around the world. Plenty of engine spares and a spare set of sails. Up for sale as she has been little used in the last 5 years she now needs a makeover from a loving owner.
