Broker's Comments

For a boat with an LOA of 26 this cleverly thought-out design from Oliver Lee really packs it all in.

The cockpit is roomy, easily large enough to accommodate 4 comfortably. Inside, the same levels of comfort are found with sensible head room-slightly under 6 foot, large light windows and hatches, fold away nav station and practical galley.

The engine is a great little unit that starts and runs as expected, sails are in a used but functional state as is the running rigging.

Now for the best bit, the Griffin has a fully retractable keel and rudder which allows entry to, and the use of drying harbours/anchorages. Once keel and rudder are lifted, the boat sits down on two support legs which also retract when not in use. To top it off the boat performs really well under sail.

So here we have it, a spacious coastal cruiser that performs well, dry's out when needed, with comfortable accommodation to match. This clever cruiser really should provide someone with a lot of fun.

Note, the boat currently shows in 'winter plumage' she would benifit from a good spring clean.
