1st Chalon sur Saone Boat Show

Come and join Magali & Graham at the first ever Chalon sur Saone boat show. Chalon sur Saone is organising it’s first ever boat show 14th & 15th June and Boatshed Bourgogne will be present throughout the weekend. Promoting all our boats for sale in Burgundy and the Midi Canals region we will also be publicising our recent partnership with Franche Comté Nautic at Port sur Saône where you can now get full marina services and enjoy full Boatshed Bourgogne sales services on site.

Another huge development for Boatshed Bourgogne is our recent appointment as world sales agents for French boat manufacturer Nicols Yacht. With 21 hire bases in some of the best locations in France, Germany and Portugal, Nicols build a range of 22 inland waterway cruisers mostly destined for their own hire fleet but also build for the private owner market. They have an enviable reputation for quality, innovation and service and Boatshed Bourgogne is proud to have been chosen as official sales agent for retiring hire boats for sale as well as their new build range.

“I was particularly keen to work with Nicols” says Graham WHARMBY of BOATSHED BOURGOGNE “and delighted when we reached an agreement. NICOLS have an enviable reputation for quality and service that makes them an ideal partner for our highly service orientated BOATSHED agency. Their boats are re-tired long before they get-tired and make ideal low maintenance private cruisers. We have already sold retired Nicols cruisers to local clients as full time live aboard boats as well as selling to clients from the other side of the world as the ideal 5 month a year holiday cruisers.”

Whether you’re selling, buying or just, “gongoozeling*” you’re sure of a great day out, so if you can find the time to support the first ever Chalon sur Saône boat show be sure to stop by and say hello.
We look forward to seeing you!
Graham & Magali

* Gongoozeler. A term used by the English narrowboat working boatmen to describe the “landlubbers” that gazed at them as they cruised by.
