Broker's Comments

I have to say, as we motored out to where this boat was moored, the closer we got the more I was so impressed by her fabulous lines and stunning looks. In my humble opinion, she really is a beautiful looking catamaran and certainly very unique.

In fact the more I chatted with the owner who has built her off plan and from concept to completed boat, he lovingly crafted her over a period of eight years. Then, following completion and test trials he adapted and modified her to produce a boat with little compromise, just functionality.

He has since completed sailing her around the UK and has thoroughly enjoyed his time constructing her and sailing her. Unfortunately, due to a change in his circumstances, the owner has very reluctantly, but through a careful decision making process, has decided to move her on to someone who can take her to sea and enjoy her for the purpose she was built for.

Stepping aboard for the first time, I was taken with what appeared to be a very high quality finish and use of materials.

Stepping into the large, deep cockpit area it felt very safe and secure and so well thought out with everything easily to hand for sailing and motoring.

Then, stepping through the companionway and into the saloon was a delight. She felt so bright, airy and a very nice place to be and certainly a place to relax, enjoy and entertain friends, family or crew.

On the starboard side of the boat, the hull was designed with a rear double cabin and a forward heads area with shower and sink. Forward from the heads is a cleverly crafted forward crew berth or could be used as a storage area.

On the port side of the boat was a great surprise. The galley appeared huge, and again so very well designed with everything sensibly positioned and apportioned to make optimum use of the space. It actually felt like a kitchen in a brand new apartment. It was very impressive.

Forward of the galley is a storage area which is again very large and is accessed from the deck on the forward port quarter and has an ingenious step system for safe easy access.

To the rear of the galley was a large double berth with lots of natural light flooding in from the windows.

As you would expect from a cat, the deck space is in abundance and she has two forward trampoline areas for safe easy transit around the vessel or for lounging and relaxing on.

One thing to point out and I apologize for my video. It's that for some unknown reason, I inadvertently refer to this boat's Davits as Stanchions :) Please ignore my slip up!

The boat's rig is also something of a rather special design and you can read about that in the details on the listing.

Overall, I was so very impressed with this cat and she is a testament to the builder in terms of her appearance and functionality.

This truly is a unique boat and if you are in the market for a catamaran, a viewing of this boat needs to be number one on your hitlist. You won't be disappointed!
